Job Description
Our client is looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who is comfortable working with live production environments, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The role involves improving release reliability, automating processes, and ensuring platform stability as our products scale.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain production and staging environments
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Support live deployments and production releases
Automate operational tasks using Python / Shell scripting
Manage infrastructure on AWS
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting
Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system uptime
Manage configuration and automation using Ansible
Build dashboards and monitoring using Grafana / observability tools
Experience with Kubernetes or Nomad
Experience supporting high availability production systems
Qualifications
6-8 years of experience
Strong understanding of Linux / Unix systems
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
Scripting experience in Python or Shell
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of cloud networking concepts
Experience designing and implementing monitoring systems
It's good to have:
Knowledge of ELK, Prometheus, or New Relic
